“Lavender: a fresh note quite intense. A floral fragrance but not heady, a green note without bitterness. It’s sparkling, fresh, floral but not sweet. We often use lavender as head note” says Robert Ibanez, perfume creator at Robertet, one of the most famous perfumers house in Grasse.

The label collection emphasizes the role of lavender in the old perfumes. However, some of the modern creations have revived the tradition such as Le Mâle by the designer Jean-Paul Gauthier in 1995, Lavande by Annick Goutal in 1981 or Lavande Velour by Guerlain.
